The Artist’s Orchard Residency 2026

Tales Blossoming Amid Disappearance
Nestled in Bangchuk-dong, Asan, Chungcheongnam-do in South Korea, The Artist’s Orchard quietly breathes amid the uncertainties of urban redevelopment.
Though it stands on the brink of disappearance, it remains a site of life, memory, and sound.
Over the past years, a sound artist has cultivated this space—gathering pain and healing, love and farewell, care and renewal.
Now, the orchard longs to hear more voices.
It seeks artists who will listen to its stories and respond with their resonance and creative expression.
